Tim Turner + Click To Enter + I got interested in playing guitar when I bought an old acoustic guitar at 14. I would play around with that guitar for hours and hours teaching myself how to play. Later I began playing with other guitarists and did that over many years and eventually played with other musicians such as drummers, keyboards and bass players. I still had no formal lessons so I played by ear. At age forty six I did my first studio recordings. At the time I owned only one guitar, an Ovation, so this was the guitar I used. The songs recorded were, "Stairs", "Met a Man", and "West Wind' all at Painted Sky Studios by Steve Crimmel. After recording these first songs I collaborated with different musicians over the next few years, playing in some bands, one band I practiced with for two solid years. My desire to write & record my own music never left me. I did get back to recordings in 2004 and recording when I could until late 2007...I recorded at these two studios... MTM Studios & PaintedSkyStudios Tim Turner & Co. - To You was completed in December 2007 With its digital release songs from the CD received plays on radio stations in Canada, The UK and the U.S. Through the internet songs were also played on Pod Cast shows in The Netherlands, the UK, the U.S. and Israel. I think about getting that first old beat up acoustic guitar and all that time I spent alone playing it. That was almost forty years ago.
